Mitchell Wiggins has died at the age of 64

On Friday, at the age of 64, the great scorer Mitchell Wiggins died. His health condition had forced his son Andrew Wiggins to miss two months of the 2022/23 NBA season to stand by his side, and the cause of his death has not been released.

In Greece, Mitchell Wiggins played for Milos (1993-1994), Sporting (1994-1996), and Panionios (1996-1997) while he also played in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, and Philadelphia 76ers. In the 1994-1995 season, he emerged as the top scorer in A1 with 29.4 points per game in Sporting's shirt.
