Iran welcomes ceasefire between Pakistan and Afgha

 

Iran on Monday welcomed a ceasefire between Pakistan and Afghanistan,


its eastern neighbors, calling for dialogue and diplomacy after days of deadly clashes.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghai expressed concern over civilian casualties and called for regional cooperation against terrorism, reiterating that Tehran is ready to “provide assistance to any effort aimed at maintaining calm and reducing tensions” between the two countries.
