How will it react?
It is obvious and commented within Russia that Western society is experiencing a crisis comparable to the one that led to the First World War. This is allegedly evidenced by the recent demonstrations and other actions in France and Great Britain, as well as by the overall rise in popularity of non-systemic, alternative political forces and movements throughout Europe, including Germany.
Of course, these are mainly right-wing forces, which were emboldened after Trump's election to the White House, drawing strength from the despair of citizens due to the economic downturn on the Old Continent.
In Germany, for example, Chancellor Friedrich Merz is reported to have acknowledged that there are simply no longer enough funds to maintain the welfare state. In the Bundesrepublik, austerity measures are being prepared, similar to those that were said to be implemented in Greece.
In France, poverty and destitution are increasing. Developments are continuous!
So what will happen to the Franco-German axis? Europe seems to have come full circle. The circle is closed. But it is not as simple as it is commented. After two world wars, a unified historical West emerged.
However, a rift is reported to have now emerged within the Western community. A rift between the “old Europe”, where internationalist elites are fighting for their survival, and the alternative Europe, which wants to take the reins and has many people with it.
At the same time, internationalist Europe has become geopolitically isolated, having failed to harm Russia both militarily and geo-economically. The same is true of China, which is constantly gaining strength.
As it is commented, the use of force against Russia has proven insufficient, and therefore (ed. also) against China, which is rapidly modernizing its army and will reach the level of Russia and the United States in terms of strategic deterrence by 2030.
Europe is called upon to understand, at this moment, that there is only one strategic balance, this one between the United States and Russia. However, the internationalist powers do not want understanding with Russia and are constantly trying to create confusion.
A major third world “war” is underway, but, for the time being, in an economic form and Europe seems to be losing it.
