The Spurs announced that the 75-year-old is expected to make a full recovery

San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich suffered a mild stroke on November 2, the team announced, clarifying the landscape regarding the reason for the absence of the experienced technician from the " spurs". The Spurs, however, announced that the 75-year-old is expected to fully recover.

"The stroke occurred Nov. 2 at Frost Bank Center," according to the team's statement, which continued: "Popovich, who has already begun a rehabilitation program, is expected to make a full recovery. At this point no timetable has been set for his return."

Popovich took over the Spurs in 1996, leading them to a winning record in his first 22 seasons. He was selected in 2022 as one of the 15 greatest NBA coaches of all time.
