Medvedev responds to those who say "Russians are hungry": "Europeans are getting poor"

Europe is slowly dying because of its suicidal policies.

Dmitry Medvedev gave his own answer to the decade-long "Kassandras" about the "disintegration of the Russian economy" and "the fall of Putin".

The former president of Russia, in an interview with RT, said that in fact the big losers of the whole affair are the European citizens who have fallen victim to the... submission of their slavish leaders:

"Western leaders have a completely distorted idea about the Russian economy. I clearly remember this quote from Barack Obama with whom I worked a lot. I remember what he said after the first sanctions:

"The Russian economy is falling apart." This, of course, was a fairy tale. The Russian economy continues to grow. Even that first round of sanctions helped us become completely self-sufficient in food production. We used to buy things from the West, but now we are self-sufficient.

Not only are we self-sufficient, but we also feed many other countries! These sanctions have backfired on Europe and shown its weakness. Europe is bogged down. Almost all countries are struggling financially and I'm not even talking about Germany which has gone from a profitable economy to God knows what.

There are no miracles! Our former partners, the so-called unfriendly countries, have to choose. They prioritized their subjugation over the welfare of their citizens.

It is the European citizens who are being impoverished! Everyone realizes that."
