Protesters invade Mexico's Senate - Interrupt session on judicial reform

Protesters stormed Mexico's Senate, disrupting debate on outgoing President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador's controversial proposals for constitutional reforms. Among the proposals is that for the election of judges through voting, even in alternative places.

Senate President Jose Gerardo Fernandez declared the session "suspended" and asked lawmakers to remain calm as protesters flooded the chamber's upper level, chanting "traitors" against the reform, which has sparked weeks of widespread protests.
